Working from home
The freedom.
The flexibility.
…the speaking to virtually no one.
I spoke to three people the other day, one spoke back.
The other day I went to the coffee shop to get some work done, feed off the energy of others and overpay for a 3-sip Cortado.
The Barista (great guy) showed me photos of his trip to Japan the whole time.
The WHOLE time.
I got NOTHING done.
I had to leave ‘cause I was tired.
I went home and took a nap.
I’m really over the whole working out of a coffee shop thing (as I write this from a coffee shop).
Sometimes I look around the room and judge everyone around me.
That’s a lie. I ALWAYS judge everyone around me.
Most days, I can pretty much guarantee I get about 65% LESS done than the average person.
I did a Google Image search of “office cubicles” recently.
I know that’s not the route… but I’m just imagining all the work I would get done.
I could be a millionaire by now if I worked out of a cubicle.
Ok, maybe not.
Everyone around me has OD’d on Zooms.
Me? I can’t book enough.
All that to say… I might not be the most “productive” remote worker to have lived.
But it’s given me the freedom to connect & re-connect with some important people in my life...
Zoom anyone? Book —> HERE
