This month I’m doing a mini-reboot.
Nothing extreme.
But I feel like there’s some changes I’ve wanted to make for a long time… and now feels like that time.
I’m not gonna bore you with all the things I added and dropped this month. The list isn’t long, but I don’t want to distract you....
Which leads me to the #1 Thing I Dropped for August and the only thing I’ll mention:
CONTENT
More specifically —> content that doesn’t serve me at the current moment.
If I open up any Social Media Apps, I’ll see:
Instagram —> I’m lost in life, but also love watching fist fights in Arenas.
Youtube —> I enjoy watching Lions hunting and killing… anything, but also how do I make $1 million in 30 days?
Twitter —> Why my writing sucks and no one follows me, but also, what did Andrew Tate say this week?
According to my algorithm, I’m a fucking weirdo!
When you think of habits, good & bad. Ones we want to drop and the ones we want to start. It’s almost always around getting into better shape and losing weight.
We often ignore what we consume with our minds.
Drop soda. Drop junk. Add pushups. Add daily run.
But at the same time - we continue to watch and read garbage (on repeat).
The average daily usage of social media is 2 hours and 24 minutes (April 2023)
We are what we consume. Facts.
Garbage in, garbage out.
Each time, we watch a Motivational Speech or “learn” how to make $1million is 30 days - we get a mini-dopamine rush.. but it doesn’t last.
I’m not telling you to stop watching everything at the beginning of the month.
Maybe a night? a Day?
See what happens.
All I’m sayin’ is to be a little more conscious of what you’re consuming.
Like my buddy Tony Bagadiccio always says:
“Change your algorithm, change your life, bro! It’s a Fugazzi! Fuggeettaabboouuttiit!”
Ciao,
Jonny G.
P.S. I’m also Tony Bagadiccio
